Weather Update: Event Rescheduled to Sunday 26 April

Storms changed the plan, not the vibe. Our Youth Week event moves to Sunday 26 April with the same line-up and set times.

Sometimes the weather has other plans.

Due to the forecast of wet weather and afternoon thunderstorms tomorrow, we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone our upcoming event. Safety, accessibility, and creating the best possible experience for everyone has to come first.

After checking in with our performers, the majority of bands and soloists shared that they were uncomfortable proceeding under the predicted conditions. We listened, and we agree, this event deserves to happen when everyone can feel confident, relaxed, and ready to perform.

📅 Sunday 26 April
🎉 Still proudly part of NSW Youth Week

The good news?
The line-up remains exactly the same
– Set times will stay the same
The energy, talent, and Youth Week spirit are all still coming,  just with better weather

Youth Week is about celebrating young voices, creativity, and connection, and sometimes that also means modelling good decision‑making and care for our community.

We’re grateful to our performers, partners, supporters, and community members for being flexible and understanding. Thank you for sticking with us and for continuing to support young people to share their voices on stage.

We can’t wait to come back together on Sunday, 26 April and deliver an event that feels safe, vibrant, and worth the wait.

See you then — hopefully under clearer skies.
