The Shoalhaven Education Fun helps local students with financial support for further education!

Applications open: Mid-year, with winners announced early in Term 4.

Veolia Mulwaree Trust Logo

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust offers up to $3,000 for students heading to university or TAFE!

Available for students studying at: University of Wollongong, University of Canberra, Australian Catholic University, Charles Sturt University, Goulburn TAFE.

Apply by: End of the year.

Promotional Products Logo

Promotion Productions offer $3,000 available in two rounds – February & August!

Apply by: Early February or August (two rounds).

Bendigo Bank Logo

Sanctuary Point and Districts Community Bank offers $10,000 over 2 years for first-year university students. Must reside in the Bay and Basin area.

Apply by: 31st January.

Only open to: First-year university students.

The George Alexander Foundation

George Alexander Foundation Scholarships are for students commencing undergraduate study at UOW and 11 other universities. Supports commencing undergraduate students with academic merit, community involvement and leadership potential; funds can support study, living and relocation costs.

County Women's Association of NSW

The CWA of NSW Education Grants are for NSW students needing education support, including some tertiary pathways.  CWA of NSW offers multiple education grants to NSW students; some support tertiary education, including the Irene Ashton Memorial Education Grant and Mary & Ella Hall Education Grant.

AgriFutures

AgriFutures Australia scholarships are for Australian citizens/permanent residents studying full-time at an Australian university and entering the final two years of an undergraduate degree aligned with agriculture.

Applications open: November

The RAS Foundation Rural Scholarships (Royal Agricultural Society of NSW) offer NSW/ACT regional students studying uni, TAFE or college.  For students passionate about rural/regional NSW; any accredited tertiary course; Australian citizen or permanent resident; school leavers who have completed at least Year 10.

Youth off the Streets Logo

The Youth Off the Streets scholarship includes financial support, mentoring, support staff and an awards ceremony.

Open to: Students 16-21 years with clear need for financial assistance

The June Steven’s Scholarship Program provides support to SCH tenants who are studying.

Open to: Students – Primary School, High School, TAFE and University.

Young Carers Network
Young Carers Network, part of Carers Australia, off younger cares a bursary to assist with their education needs. 

Apply by: December for the following year.

The NSW Government’s Youth Development Scholarhips are for studnets who are studying at public school  and live in assisted housing or have experience with out-of-home care, apply for a scholarship today.

Open to: Year 10, 11 or 12 in NSW doing a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship, NSW high school, equivalent at a TAFE college or home schooling

Nominations Close: February

The Harding Miller Education Foundation
The Harding Milled Education Foundation empowers  young women in public schools with over $2,500 in support!

Open to: Year 8 girls moving into Year 9.

Applications close: September the year prior.

The Public Education Foundation offers a wide range of scholarships for Primary & Secondary students!

Applications due by: August/September 2025.
