Thank You, Bay & Basin
Thanks to your support, we received 162 completed surveys, each one offering valuable insight into what’s working, what’s needed, and what matters most for children and young people in our community.
The survey was co-designed with local residents, young people, and community groups, and the responses reflect the diversity, care, and commitment that make the Bay & Basin such a special place.
What Happens Next?
Your feedback isn’t just being read — it’s being used and shared.
The survey results will directly inform:
- Community recommendations and shared priorities
- Future programs and projects that support children and young people
- Partnerships with schools, services, and local organisations
- Advocacy and planning across the Bay & Basin
In addition, we will be developing a Community Voice Survey Report that brings together the key themes, insights, and priorities emerging from the data.
Importantly, this report won’t sit on a shelf or belong to just one organisation. We believe this data belongs to the whole community. It represents your voices, experiences, and hopes, and it’s vital that local residents, community groups, services, and decision‑makers can all access and use it.
The report will be shared publicly with the community and released later this year. Our hope is that it will support collective thinking, collaboration, and action. Helping projects, services, and advocacy efforts across the Bay & Basin work from a shared understanding of what matters most.
Every response strengthens the way we listen, learn, and act together. By sharing these insights openly, we’re supporting a community‑led approach to creating opportunities that help our young people thrive, now and into the future.
