FADIC January Holiday Workshops – Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- Workshops are open to young people aged 10 to 17 years.
- Participants must be registered and have a completed consent form submitted before attending.
Registration & Payment
- Places are confirmed only after registration.
- Registration is strictly limited to available spaces, so early booking is recommended.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket to free the space for others.
Workshop Attendance
- Doors open 5 minutes before the scheduled start time; participants are encouraged to arrive on time.
- Participants should be collected promptly at the end of the workshop unless alternative arrangements have been made. Guardians must inform Firefly if their child has permission to leave unaccompanied.
- Firefly reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.
Behaviour Expectations
- Participants are expected to treat staff, volunteers, and peers with respect.
- Dangerous, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Participants must follow instructions from workshop leaders at all times.
Health & Safety
- Any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements must be disclosed at registration.
- Firefly staff will take all reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety.
- In case of emergency, Firefly staff may seek medical assistance on behalf of the participant.
Personal Property
- Firefly is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
- Participants are encouraged to bring only essential belongings.
Photography & Media
- Firefly and its partners may take photos or videos during workshops for reporting and promotional purposes.
- By participating, you consent to the use of images in Firefly marketing materials.
- If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the staff at the start of the workshop.
Cancellations & Changes
- Firefly reserves the right to cancel or change workshop activities due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Participants will be notified of significant changes as soon as possible.
COVID-19 & Illness Policy
- Participants must not attend if unwell or showing symptoms of contagious illness.
- Firefly reserves the right to implement health and safety measures as required.
