Burton St. Beats Debuts This Youth Week
Burton St. Beats, a brand‑new youth‑led music festival, is set to bring the Burton Street Stage and mall in Vincentia to life on 17 April 2026, from 2pm–6pm, as part of NSW Youth Week and the Autumn school holidays.
Designed by young people, for young people, the festival will spotlight emerging musicians from across the South Coast — creating a vibrant platform where young artists can perform original music, build real stage experience, and share their creativity with the community.
A festival born from youth voice
Burton St. Beats began as an idea in 2025 through Firefly’s Youth Voice Program at Vincentia High School, where students identified a strong need for creative spaces and performance pathways. Since then, local youth have co‑designed every element of the event — from concept to programming — ensuring the festival reflects their vision and celebrates the diverse talent of young musicians.
The event is supported by Vincentia Community Connections, whose success delivering a recent music festival at the same location highlighted the community’s enthusiasm for youth‑driven arts and culture.
Festival artwork and visual identity have been created by local musician and artist Ace Bale, bringing an authentic and youthful aesthetic to the campaign.
Celebrating Youth Leadership

Firefly are incredibly proud to support them and can’t wait for the community to experience the creativity and energy they bring to the stage.”
Performer Call‑Out Now Open
Firefly is inviting young musicians aged 12–24 to register their interest.
We welcome:
- Soloists
- Bands & duos
- Rappers
- Acoustic artists
- Performers from all genres
Acts will have the opportunity to perform 10–15 minute sets, supported by Firefly staff and volunteers to ensure a positive, professional on‑stage experience.
