Turn the Dumps into Jumps!

Join the Youth Voices movement to Revitalize the Basin View BMX Track!

We are three Year 9 students from Vincentia High School and Firefly Bay and Basin’s Youth Voice Project members. We are conducting a community project to get the council to prioritise revitalising the Basin View BMX track.

This youth-led project aims to transform the Basin View BMX Track at Malcom Moore Reserve from a neglected space into a vibrant hub for outdoor fun. By revitalizing the track, we’re not just fixing jumps but creating a safer, more enjoyable space for everyone to come together, get active, and make lasting memories.

How You Can Get Involved:

Take the Survey: Share your thoughts and ideas on improving the BMX track by completing our quick survey here.

Sign the Petition: Stand up for our community’s recreational facilities by signing the petition urging the council to prioritize repairs on the BMX track here.

Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family, and neighbours to participate and support this important youth-led initiative.

Print out this poster and put it up at your workplace and around the community.

Together, we can turn the dumps into jumps and create a safer, more enjoyable space for everyone in our community. Let’s make a difference together!
