2025 Spring into Sanctuary Point Winner

We’re thrilled to share the results of the 2025 Spring into Sanctuary Point Poster Competition! A huge thank you to everyone who submitted a poster – your creativity and imagination truly made this year’s competition something special.

It’s always inspiring to see the talent within our community, and this year was no exception. From bold designs to colourful storytelling, every poster showcased the unique perspectives of our local young artists.

And now, the winners:

  • Overall Winner: Poster #7 – S. 16 years
  • High School Highly Commended: Poster #1
  • Primary School Highly Commended: Poster #2
  • People’s Choice Award: Poster #4

Sol, our overall winner, shared a little about their poster: “Being a teenager. Chilling with some friends on a Saturday, going to mural workshops and nice bush walks in winter with our cameras. (Me and my bestie are hidden in the poster on the right side :D) – S, 16 years”

Christine, SPCP member and coordinator of the Poster Competition at Firefly, said:“We loved all the great entries. The judging panel especially liked the winning poster – we loved the aerial view of the footy field and St Georges Basin. They’ve definitely been to the fair in the past!”

Congratulations to all our winners! We will be contacting prize recipients soon to arrange delivery of their prizes.

To everyone who participated, thank you once again for sharing your artwork and helping us celebrate the creativity of our community. Your posters made a lasting impression and we can’t wait to see what you create next year!
