At Firefly Bay and Basin, alongside our partners in the Strengthening Communities Alliance, including Uniting and other community organisations in Australia, we’re committed to building stronger, more connected communities through place-based, community-led initiatives.
This July to support this work and link in with our Community Voice initiative, we’ve launched an important survey to hear directly from community members of all ages across the bay and basin on what strengthens communities.
Whether you live, work, or play here, your insights will help us understand what’s working well, what needs improvement, and how we can better support the people and places that make our region special.
Why Your Voice Matters
Place-based initiatives mean local projects designed with and for the community, from youth programs and family services to cultural events and environmental projects. Your feedback will help create a clearer picture of the impact these programs have, guide future planning and funding decisions and have community drive decisions that affect them.
What to Expect
The survey takes about 6 minutes to complete
Your responses are confidential and anonymous
By participating, you’ll go into a draw to win one of three fantastic prizes:
- A $100 voucher to Sandbar Restaurant and Bar
- 4 tickets to HuskissonPictures
- A $100 voucher for Aquatique
How to Take Part
You can fill out the survey online by scanning the QR code on our posters around the community or by clicking this link: https://bit.ly/SCAsurvey25.
We’re also promoting the survey at the upcoming Sanctuary Point Public School NAIDOC event on 25 July, where you can visit our stall, chat with us, and complete the survey on the spot.
Join Us in Strengthening Our Communities
Your feedback is invaluable in helping us build a future where every voice counts and every community thrives. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey — together, we can make a lasting difference.
