Presented by Firefly Bay and Basin in partnership with Sanctuary Point Community Pride Inc.
Calling all young artists aged 5–18 in the Bay and Basin! It’s time to grab your pens, paints, tablets and imaginations – the Spring into Sanctuary Point Poster Competition is back for 2026, and this year’s theme is all about connection, colour and community: Connecting Community.
What Does “Connecting Community” Mean?
Connecting Community is all about bringing people together, building relationships, and creating a sense of belonging. Strong communities grow when people connect, support one another, and work towards shared goals.
Through this project, we invite you to explore what connection means to you. Whether it’s neighbours helping neighbours, friends coming together, community groups making a difference, or people sharing skills and experiences, every connection helps strengthen our community.
Use your creativity to show us how people can connect, collaborate, and create positive change. Together, we can build a more inclusive, supportive, and vibrant community for everyone.
