Skate Park Engagement with Sanctuary Point Public School
On Thursday, 9th March, the Firefly Team met with the student representative council from Sanctuary Point Public School at Sanctuary Point Skate Park at Francis Ryan Reserve to discuss The Point project and learn more about the proposed mural for the skate park.
The students were shown where the mural would be painted, and together we discussed how this would benefit them and the community. We invited these young people to give their ideas about themes and images they would like to see incorporated in the artist designed mural, and completed the skate park survey.
The Firefly Team also chatted with the students about what feedback we had already received, the murals we have in Nowra and how exciting it would be to have one of the same level in Sanctuary Point.
If you have not done so already, take part in our Skate Park survey. We want to hear from you! – THIS SURVEY IS NOW CLOSED
