Support the Future of Malcolm Moore BMX Track

the future of malcolm more bmx track

Thanks to the incredible efforts of Vincentia High School students and the community’s passion for improving the Malcolm Moore Reserve BMX track, exciting progress is underway! The track has been included in the Community Infrastructure Strategic Plan (CISP) Review, ensuring it remains a focus for future improvements.

Your Voice Matters

Now, we need your help to shape the future of the BMX track and ensure it meets the needs of our community. The Shoalhaven Council has launched a survey as part of the CISP Review, and your feedback will directly inform future plans for the site. Your input is crucial whether you’re a seasoned BMX rider, a local parent, or someone who’d like to see the track rejuvenated.

The survey is quick and easy to complete, with only nine simple questions. Question 8 asks, “Is there anything else that you would like to tell us about the facility?” This is an excellent opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas more.

When Firefly completed the survey, we mentioned, “This park has the potential to become a valuable asset for the Bay and Basin community, serving not only local youth but also those seeking to enhance their BMX skills before advancing to the track on Forrest Road. Additionally, it would provide significant benefits to the local high school, which fields a BMX team competing at the state level, and the nearby public school. Furthermore, the park could become a key destination, attracting tourists and contributing to the area’s appeal and economy.”

The survey is open until 31 January 2025. Take a few minutes to share your thoughts and help create a vibrant, safe, and exciting space for all to enjoy.

These changes directly result from the political interest and momentum generated by our dedicated youth and supporters. Your voices make a real difference—let’s keep the momentum going!
